CONTINUOUS REHABILITATION
Pipe rehabilitation with LED technology
Bluelight is an approved LED-cured CIPP lining system for application in service connections and sanitation networks inside buildings.
The system has been developed and used in Europe for over 12 years, with over 60,000 installations completed.
The patented BLUELIGHT technology is the most versatile system on the market, allowing work to be carried out in a wide range of diameters from 70 to 500 mm.
The equipment's great maneuverability, thanks to its low weight and modularity, facilitates work in hard-to-reach areas such as roofs, basements, etc., and even the rehabilitation of 500 mm collectors.
The system also features a compact control unit with a very intuitive interface for easy operation.
Advantages
Unique patented LED curing technology. EP 2 129 956 B1.
Curing is performed using a set of LEDs operating in the blue light wavelength (450 nm).
All sleeves supplied by Aarsleff, together with the BlueLight equipment, comply with all applicable European approvals: DIBt (German Construction Institute), WRC (International Institute for Approval), and DTA (French Technical Approval).
The single-component vinylester resin is styrene-free and contains a patented photoinitiator that reacts only within the wavelength of the light heads' LEDs. It allows for in-situ and pre-impregnation.
The equipment, sleeves, and resins are from the same manufacturer. The final installation result is guaranteed. Three different interchangeable heads are available for the same structure, covering an application range of 70 to 500 mm, allowing for bends of up to 90°.
The system allows for 4 to 10 installations per day, thanks to its high curing speed.
Installation time varies between 5 and 45 minutes, depending on the light head version, sleeve diameter, thickness, and length.
Curing speeds range from 0.3 to 1.6 m/min.
UV Cured
UV-curing sleeve restoration system. This system uses a sleeve pre-impregnated with resin that hardens under ultraviolet radiation and is quick and easy to install.
Process
The sleeve is inserted through a manhole, pulling from the opposite side.
The installation plugs and packers are placed at the ends of the sleeve, and a compressor-blower inflates it to fit the pipe.
A train of ultraviolet lamps is passed through the section at a controlled speed, allowing the ultraviolet radiation to harden the sleeve's resin.
Once the sleeve is finished in the manholes and the service connections are reopened, if necessary, the rehabilitation is complete.
Advantages
Very fast overall installation time, without the need for water or heating.
Very wide range of applications with a single unit.
Highly reliable and guaranteed technology, tested and developed for over 20 years.
