Free sheet flowmeter using radar technology
The RAVEN-EYE is a radar flowmeter for open-channel flow measurements. It utilizes state-of-the-art surface flow measurement technology, without contact with water. It can also be easily integrated with telemetry systems or other existing SCADA systems.

The Raven-Eye is installed above the water surface and measures flow velocity using radar technology and water level using a level sensor (ultrasonic, radar, or piezoresistive). The flow rate is calculated by applying the continuity equation: Q = v x A
The Raven-Eye will operate even when obstructed by plastic or wood. During each measurement cycle, thousands of velocity measurements are taken and processed to provide an extremely accurate average velocity reading using a dedicated digital signal processor that performs real-time spectral analysis.
