Van mounting systems
Van-mounted milling systems are specifically equipped to perform these tasks with the highest performance, while also taking into account the safety requirements for work on public roads.
In addition to the specific milling systems (control unit, computer with software, hose reel, milling robots, camera, and computer with software), they include auxiliary equipment to assist with autonomous work in the field.
They have two cabins: one for operation (front) and one for equipment (rear). The control unit, monitors, a PC, and operator furniture are installed in the operating cabin. The hose reel, crane, and furniture for transporting robots and accessories are installed in the rear.
The equipment can be complemented with air conditioning for the operating cabin, an equipment cleaning system, traffic signaling, etc.
The usual general power supply is Li-ion batteries, with capacities appropriate to the equipment level and the required range. Specific generators for mobile applications can also be used.
The equipment level is tailored to the user's needs and milling requirements. Depending on these equipment levels, various types of vehicles with different sizes and permissible weight capacities can be used. Vehicles can be powered by conventional diesel, gas, or electric (zero-emission) engines.
Rack control unit:
PLC-based control system for managing the various electric milling components: robot, camera, and cable drum.
Can work with various electric milling robots.
Professional 17" color TV monitor for image and data display.
Equipment for remote diagnosis and maintenance.
Pressure regulators and pressure gauges for pneumatic circuits.
Power supply panel with safety switches for the different sections, differential, and insulation monitoring.
PC system with CPU, hard drive, DVD recorder, 17" monitor, mouse, keyboard, video capture device, and uninterruptible power supply.
Can work with various electrically driven milling robots.
Control console:
Two multifunctional joysticks control the robot's forward and backward movements, head movements, camera movements, etc.
Switches and pushbuttons for the different robot, camera, and drum functions. Emergency stop button.
Keyboard with text and data generator, and meter counter for display on the video image.
Motorized hose drum and accessories:
Combined hose length: 150 meters.
Automatic hose exit and retraction system based on robot movements.
Additional control unit for cable-independent movement.
Reversing spindle for uniform hose retraction.
Meter counter for robot location.
Includes electrical control circuits and pneumatic and water circuits for powering the milling robots.
Central manifold mounted on the shaft for electrical, pneumatic, and water connections.
Integrated system for controlling pressurization and tightness of the milling robots. Controlled from the control station rack.
Integrated water system with injection pump for cooling the cutters and cleaning the TV camera.
Mobile crane mounted on a rotating boom for lifting and lowering the robots into the shafts.
Hose deflector inside the shaft.
